No. The Certificate of Completion is a training certificate: it shows that one person completed ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Annex A Controls and reached the pass mark in its final exam. It is not certification of an organisation to ISO/IEC 42001, and Sterling does not certify organisations. An organisation is certified by an independent certification body after that body's own audit.
Annex A of ISO/IEC 42001:2023 lists 38 controls in nine areas, A.2 to A.10: policies related to AI, internal organization, resources for AI systems, assessing impacts of AI systems, the AI system life cycle, data for AI systems, information for interested parties, use of AI systems, and third-party and customer relationships. Annex B gives the implementation guidance for each control.
