Do I need any experience before I start?
Awareness courses need no prior knowledge of the standard. Implementation and internal auditor courses build on the awareness level of the same standard, and every learning path shows the order Sterling recommends, so you can start at the step that matches your role.
How long do I have to finish a course?
Every course gives you 12 months' access from the day you enrol, on any device. You study at your own pace, return to any module as often as you like and take the final exam when you are ready.
What do I receive when I complete a course?
You receive a verifiable Sterling Academy certificate in your name, which anyone can check online by its number or QR code, and a LinkedIn badge that links to its own page. Depending on the course, the certificate is a Certificate of Competence or a Certificate of Completion, as each course page explains.
Can my employer pay for my course?
Yes. Your employer can buy places for its team and add you as a learner, and its client administrators then follow your progress and keep your training record. For an invoice to your company, send a team enquiry and a Sterling consultant arranges it.
Who answers my questions while I learn?
