How each model works in practice

A referral partner

A quality trainer runs workshops for manufacturing companies. After each workshop, she shares her Sterling Academy partner link so participants can take the ISO 9001:2026 awareness and internal-auditor courses online. Every purchase made through her link is recorded against her account, and her commission is paid monthly with a statement of the sales behind it.

A reseller

A training company serves companies across its region. It buys places at partner prices, adds them to its own training proposals and invoices its clients in local currency. Each client organisation is set up on Sterling Academy with its own dashboard, and the training company follows progress with its clients.

A consulting firm

An information security consultancy takes clients through ISO/IEC 27001 certification. Each project now includes ISO/IEC 27001 awareness for all staff and the controls course for the implementation team. The consultancy sees who has finished, and its clients reach their certification audit with training records already in place.

A content licensee

A college runs a diploma in quality and safety management. It licenses a set of Sterling Academy courses for its students, under an agreement that fixes the courses, the number of learners and how the content is delivered. When a standard changes, the courses are updated.

Partnering in your region

Demand for ISO and GRC training follows regulation and supply chains. Exporters need ISO 9001 and ISO 14001, outsourcing and technology companies need ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2 and PCI DSS, healthcare and life sciences need GMP, medical device and privacy training, and every company that uses AI now faces new rules. In each region, the partner who brings these courses to local companies first becomes their trusted source.

Sterling International Consulting already works with organisations across the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia, Europe, the Americas, Africa and Australia. We welcome partners in any of these regions, and especially partners who know a sector well: manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food, logistics, technology and business process outsourcing.

Where a partner covers a whole country or region, we can agree how leads from that market are shared, so that companies there are served by someone who understands them. Where a partner serves one sector, we can suggest the courses that sector is audited against and help prepare a ready-made training plan for its clients.

Why partners choose Sterling Academy

A catalogue your clients already need

151 courses across quality, information security, data privacy, health, safety and environment, food safety, GMP, medical devices, automotive, AI governance and regulatory compliance. Most organisations audited against a standard need several of them.

Content that protects your reputation

Every course is built by Sterling consultants who take organisations through certification, teaches the current edition of the standard and is checked against it before release. Nothing you recommend will embarrass you in front of a client or an auditor.

Prices that are easy to sell

Awareness courses from US$19, management courses at US$29 and practitioner courses at US$149, offered at US$99 until 31 December 2026, each with 12 months' access. Partner prices leave room for your margin.

Certificates that can be checked

Every learner who completes a course receives a verifiable certificate with a QR code that anyone can check online, which your clients can show their employer, auditor, certification body or regulator as evidence of competence.

A platform that does the administration

Client dashboards, reminders, progress reports and audit-ready training records are built in. You sell and support; the platform handles enrolment, delivery and records.

A group with 20+ years in ISO and GRC

Sterling International Consulting has delivered 8,100+ client engagements in 60+ countries, with offices in New York, Dubai, Manila, Mumbai, London and the Netherlands.

Who our partners are

Sterling Academy partners share one thing: they work with people and organisations that must meet a standard, a regulation or a customer requirement, and they want to offer training they can stand behind.

  • ISO and GRC consultants who want every client project to include training and audit-ready records.
  • Training companies that want to add a current, specialist ISO and GRC catalogue without building it.
  • Distributors and e-learning marketplaces that serve a country or region and want courses with clear prices and verifiable certificates.
  • Industry associations and chambers that want to offer members recognised, practical training.
  • Universities and colleges that want industry-relevant content in quality, safety, security and compliance.
  • Learning-platform providers that want trusted ISO and GRC content for their customers.

Courses partners sell most

Partners usually start with the courses their clients are audited against:

  • Awareness for all staff: ISO 9001:2026, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 14001:2026, ISO 45001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA and GDPR, at about 2 hours each.
  • Implementation and internal auditor courses for the people who build and check the system.
  • Regulated industries: US FDA and EU GMP, data integrity, medical devices, laboratories and food safety.
  • New regulations: NIS2, DORA, the EU AI Act and ISO/IEC 42001 for AI governance.
  • Specialist skills: root cause analysis, FMEA, risk management, measurement system analysis and statistical process control.

Each course page lists its modules, the standard and its edition, and the certificate learners receive, so partners can match courses to client needs quickly.

What we look for in a partner

We work with partners who share our standards: honest selling, clear information for buyers and good service after the sale. In particular, we look for partners who:

  • describe our courses and certificates accurately, using the words on our course pages;
  • never present a Sterling Academy certificate as a personnel certification issued by an accreditation body;
  • respect learners' privacy and the data protection rules that apply in their country;
  • give their clients a dedicated contact for questions before and after the sale;
  • tell us what their clients need next, so we can build the courses that sell.

In return, partners get their own Sterling partner manager, product briefings when new courses are released, and early notice of new editions and new subjects.

What makes it easy to sell

Buyers of ISO and GRC training ask the same questions: who built it, is it current, what does it cost and will the certificate stand up. Sterling Academy answers each one plainly on every course page, so partners spend their time with clients, not explaining the product.

Every course page names the standard and its edition, lists every module with a short description, shows the price and access period, and explains the certificate. Prices are simple: awareness, management and practitioner tiers, with team prices for groups. Companies can buy online, or work with a Sterling consultant or a partner for larger orders.

For companies, the strongest argument is the record. ISO management system standards ask organisations to keep evidence of the competence of their people. A Sterling Academy dashboard holds that evidence, ready for the audit.

How partnership works

    A Sterling partner manager calls you to agree the model, the courses and the terms.

  3. Agree

    We sign a partner agreement that sets prices, commission or licence terms and responsibilities.

  4. Start

    You receive your partner link or account, product briefings and course materials, and start selling.

What your clients get

Your clients get training that fits the way they work. Courses run as short video modules, about 2 hours for awareness, with built company examples from well-known cities and industries, practice questions after each module and a final exam at the end. Learners can stop and continue on any device, and their progress is saved.

Each client organisation has a training coordinator who adds employees, chooses the courses each person needs and follows progress in a dashboard. Reminders go to learners automatically, and a status report shows who was trained, on what and when, with exam results and certificate numbers.

When the course is complete, each learner receives a verifiable certificate with a QR code by e-mail. Anyone can verify it online, which makes it simple for your client to show an auditor, a certification body or a regulator what training was done.

For your client, the result is less administration and a training record that stands up. For you, it is a satisfied client who comes back for the next course and the next standard.

The support you get as a partner

Every partner has their own Sterling partner manager who knows your market and your clients. Your partner manager will:

  • agree the partnership model, prices and terms with you, and set up your account or partner link;
  • brief your team on the catalogue, the platform and how to match courses to client needs;
  • help you prepare proposals for larger client orders;
  • set up your clients' organisations on the platform and answer their coordinators' questions;
  • keep you informed of new courses, new editions and new subjects before they are released.

Partners also receive course descriptions, images and sample lessons they can use in their own marketing, and a monthly statement of their sales or referrals.

Our standards for course content

Every course is written by Sterling consultants from the published standard or regulation, checked against it before release, and narrated with every term pronounced clearly. Examples are built around real kinds of organisations, so learners can see the standard at work.

Courses teach the current edition of each standard, and each course page names it. When a new edition is published, the affected courses are updated, and partners are told what changed. Before any course is released, its whole learner journey, from sign-in to certificate, is tested end to end.

Partner questions

Who can become a Sterling Academy partner?

Any organisation or professional that works with people or companies who need ISO, GRC or compliance training: consultants, consulting firms, training companies, distributors, associations, universities, colleges and learning-platform providers.

What does a partner earn?

Referral partners earn a commission on each sale through their link. Resellers and consulting firms buy places at partner prices and set their own selling price. Licensing partners agree a licence fee. Terms are agreed with each partner and written into the partner agreement.

Do I need to be an ISO expert to refer courses?

No. Our course pages explain each course, who it is for and what it covers, and we give you briefings and materials. Many referral partners are trainers, coaches and professional communities rather than consultants.

Can my clients see their progress and records?

Yes. Each client organisation gets its own dashboard with assignments, progress, exam results and certificate numbers, and can download a status report at any time.

Which countries do you work in?

Partners can be based anywhere. Our courses are taught in English and sold worldwide, with Sterling offices in the Americas, the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Can a certification body become a partner?

A certification body may refer learners or license content for its own staff. Because certification bodies must stay impartial, Sterling does not consult the clients they certify; any partnership is designed around that rule.

How long does it take to start?

Most partners are set up within a week of signing the partner agreement.

Is there a cost to join?

There is no joining fee. The partner agreement sets out what each side does and how each side is paid.

Can I see the courses before I apply?

Yes. Every course page shows its modules and descriptions, and you can watch a sample lesson. Once you apply, your partner manager can give you a full preview of the courses you plan to sell.

How are referred sales tracked?

Each referral partner receives a personal link and code. Purchases made through them are recorded against the partner's account and listed in a monthly statement.

Can partners offer bundles of courses?

Yes. Partners can combine courses for their clients, and bundle prices are agreed in the partner agreement.

Can I partner if I already sell other e-learning?

Yes. Many training companies and platforms add Sterling Academy courses to an existing catalogue. Our courses cover ISO, GRC and regulatory subjects in depth, with current editions and verifiable certificates, which sits well beside general business or technical training. Your partner manager will help you position the two side by side for your clients.
